You can run a campaign across several domainas (and subdomains), so select the relevant sites from the list. Use the control key to select multiple. To add, edit or remove domains, visit the profile page.
Start and finish dates are optional. These are useful if your campaign has time limitations. For instance, Website promotions and competitions will usually have a limited time frame.
By optionally selecting a collection here it is possible to link the campaign with the FormCatcher data capture service. By using both FormCatcher and Send2Friend together, it is possible to run a sophisticated viral marketing campaign. Ensure that you put your Send2Friend code on your collection "Thank You" page and specify a static URL in step 5.
The static URL field is optionally used to set the link in all referral emails for the current campaign. Although your reports will still identify which pages are more popular, the email recipients will always be send to the URL specified here.
Remember to use a static URL whenever you want your visitors to enter your site via a page other than the one with the Send2Friend code in it (eg: a viral campaign with Send2Friend on the FormCatcher thank you page).
There are 5 separate pages of Campaign Options available in Campaign Edit mode.
1. Campaign Settings: The name, domain and dates for your campaign;
2. Referral Email Settings: Configures the emails that are sent from your campaign;
3. Theme & Effects: Manages the interface & design of your campaign;
4. Text & Information: Edit the text in your campaign (eg: Privacy Policy)
5. Data Capture Options: Control which fields are displayed in the referral window (eg: first and last names)
