Edit Campaign - Email

This is the text that appears in the subject line of the email that is sent to your visitors' friends. Using the words "site" and "sender" wrapped in square brackets tells the system to automatically replace these values with the site and sender's names. For instance, if your subject line is:

[sender] has sent you a link to [site]

The email sent by a visitor to MyDomain.com called Jack would look like this:

Jack has sent you a link to MyDomain.com

Entering a single email address here allows you to blind carbon copy (BCC) referral emails sent from your campaign. If you select "Send ALL" then you will receive a copy of every referral email sent by your site visitors. Alternatively, selecting "Send opt-ins ONLY" will limit the email you receive to the just those where the sender has opted-in for your mailing list.

The Send2Friend referal emails use advanced templates that can be customised extensively. To change the content of your campaign's emails, click the Edit HTML and Edit Text buttons to edit each version. Note that emails are sent as multipart MIME messages so that, where possible, they will be displayed as HTML. If the recipient's software doesn;t support HTML, the text version will automatically be displayed instead.

Don't forget to save any changes before navigating away from the page!

There are 5 separate pages of Campaign Options available in Campaign Edit mode.

1. Campaign Settings: The name, domain and dates for your campaign;
2. Referral Email Settings: Configures the emails that are sent from your campaign;
3. Theme & Effects: Manages the interface & design of your campaign;
4. Text & Information: Edit the text in your campaign (eg: Privacy Policy)
5. Data Capture Options: Control which fields are displayed in the referral window (eg: first and last names)
