Edit Campaign - Text

The window caption is displayed in the title bar of the referral window.

The opt-in message is dsiplayed next to the subscribe checkbox. This should be something along the lines of "Please add me to your mailing list" or "Inform me of future discount promotions".

You can modify the privacy statement, although bear in mind that this can have legal consequences. Remember, Send2Friend uses an opt-in mechanism that complies with anti-spam legislation in most countries (including Australia and the USA). Nevertheless, it is up to you to make this clear to your site's visitors.

This is the message that will appear in the referral window after a referral has been sent. A "reset" button will also appear under this message, allowing the user to send another referral from the same window.

This optional checkbox can be used to require your visitors to accept your terms and conditions explicitly prior to sending referral emails. This is useful for sites that require users to be from a particular industry or of a particular age, for instance.

If you choose to require your visitors to accept your terms and conditions (see step 5), you can specify the wording of the agreement here. This needs to be kept short as it appears on the Send2Friend referral window. If your terms and conditions are extensive, use the URL option provided in step 7.

If your terms and conditions text exceeds a few words (see step 6) then provide an optional URL here. This will automatically be linked from the terms text displayed in the referral window.

Don't forget to save any changes before navigating away from the page!

There are 5 separate pages of Campaign Options available in Campaign Edit mode.

1. Campaign Settings: The name, domain and dates for your campaign;
2. Referral Email Settings: Configures the emails that are sent from your campaign;
3. Theme & Effects: Manages the interface & design of your campaign;
4. Text & Information: Edit the text in your campaign (eg: Privacy Policy)
5. Data Capture Options: Control which fields are displayed in the referral window (eg: first and last names)
